+ Carpineto Mountain Refuge
The refuge is a biomimicry project inspired by the combined concepts of the spider web and the weaver bird's nest. The concept revolves around using a singular diamond like panel that varies in scale and joins together to create a space for mountain climbers and hikers to take refuge for a short break or overnight rest. The panels adjoin to one another and wrap to create enclosure while creating forms for various purposes.
